PLANNING A CLEARANCE
Mattress and bed collection in Bury: what to check before booking
By WastePro · Published 14 October 2026
Plan a mattress or bed enquiry around item sizes, access and new-furniture delivery without assuming a collection slot.
Describe each item separately
Tell Tyler whether you need a mattress, a bed base, a headboard or a combination collected. Include sizes where known and send photos. WastePro’s Our Work gallery includes a genuine mattress collection.
Show where the items are
A mattress outside a property and a bed upstairs involve different access questions. Explain the floor, stairs, doors and parking. Agree the collection point instead of assuming items must be moved outside.
Mention a delivery deadline early
If a new bed is arriving, include the delivery date in your enquiry and ask about collection availability. A preferred date is not a confirmed booking. Leave room in your plans until the arrangements have been agreed.
Check dismantling arrangements
If a bed frame or base needs taking apart, explain that before booking and ask what preparation is needed. Do not assume dismantling is included. There is no need to move a heavy item just to take a photograph.
Send a complete enquiry
Include photos of every item, your postcode, the current location and any deadline. Tyler can then discuss the scope and a free, no-obligation quotation.
