PLANNING A CLEARANCE
Booking waste removal: what to agree before collection day
By WastePro · Published 14 October 2026
A practical checklist covering quotation scope, access, timing, changes and what happens after loading.
Confirm what is included
List the items and areas to be cleared. Point out anything that must remain and check whether loading or preparation is part of the arrangement. Ask for clarification if a quotation does not match your understanding.
Confirm the price and payment arrangements
Ask what the quoted amount covers, whether anything could change it and how payment will work. Discuss any deposit, cancellation or rescheduling questions directly before booking; do not assume another provider’s terms apply.
Agree timing and contact details
Confirm the collection date and any agreed arrival window. Make sure the person arranging access knows the plan. Ask how timing changes will be communicated, especially if someone is travelling to the property.
Explain access before the day
Mention stairs, locked gates, parking and narrow routes. Agree who will provide access and where the items will be. Send an update if the situation changes.
Discuss the finish you expect
Ask whether sweeping or other tidying is included and what remains outside the collection scope. A clear agreement helps avoid different expectations. Tell Tyler about extra waste before collection so any price or arrangement changes can be discussed.
